हिशोब पूर्ण करण्यासंदर्भात सूचना :

 बिले ही खरेदीनंतर लवकरात लवकर द्यावीत. ऑगस्ट महिन्यातील बिले मार्च महिन्यात दिली जातात असे निदर्शनास आले आहे. याबाबत विलंब करू नये.

अॅडव्हान्स  साठी पूर्व नियोजन करून अर्ज करून ठेवावा. कार्यक्रमाचे आधी अॅडव्हान्सची रक्कम चेकने देण्यात येईल.

कार्यक्रमानंतर एका आठवड्याचे आत हिशोब पूर्ण करावा.

अॅडव्हान्स सेटल करण्यासाठी फॉर्म वापरावा. सर्व बिले ही तारखेनुसार क्रमाने लावून घ्यावीत. त्यांची संक्षिप्त यादी फॉर्ममध्ये लिहावी.  शेवटी बेरीज करून रक्कम शिल्लक, जादा केलेला खर्च, वगैरे लिहावा.

रोखीचे व्यवहार हे अपरिहार्य असेल तेव्हाच करावेत. शक्यतो सर्व पेमेंट्स चेकनेच अदा करावीत. त्यासाठी बँक खाते असणारे पुरावठादारांबरोबरच व्यवहार करावेत. चेक लिहिणे, ते बँकेत जमा होऊन हातात रक्कम मिळणे यासाठी वेळ लागतो. तेव्हढे थांबण्याची तयारी असणारे पूरवठादारांबरोबरच व्यवहार करावेत.

जेथे चेकने पेमेंट करता येणे शक्य आहे तेथे रोख अॅडव्हान्स  दिला जाणार नाही.

बिले व पावत्यांबाबत :

बिले छापील असावीत. पक्की बिले घ्यावीत. त्यासाठी टॅक्स आकारणी झाली तरी चालेल.

बिलावर नम्बरिंग, तारीख, नगसंख्या, दर, एकूण रक्कम, रोख मिळाल्याचा शेरा, किंवा बाकी असल्याचा शेरा, सही इ. असले पाहिजे. बिलामध्ये खाडाखोड नसावी, शाईचा बदल, हस्ताक्षरातील बदल, इ. नसावा.

चेकने पेमेंट केल्यावर त्याची पोहोच घेऊन जोडावी.  

रु.१००० पेक्षा अधिक रक्कमेच्या खरेदीसाठी कोटेशन पद्धती अवलंबावी. किमान तीन कोटेशन्स आवश्यक. त्याचा तुलनात्मक तक्ता जोडावा. त्यावर मंजुरीची सही प्राचार्य व मॅनेजमेंट सदस्यांची असावी.

 रु.५००० हून अधिक रक्कमेच्या पावतीवर/व्हाऊचरवर  रेव्हेन्यू स्टँप लावून सही केलेली असावी.

Code of Professional Ethics for University and College Teachers

(as published in the Statutes of Savitribai Phule Pune University )

Teaching is a sacred profession. It is rather a sacred service than a profession. Any profession demands for its worthy existence, acceptance and enforcement of code of ethics which make the profession self-regulating, self-governing and self-satisfying. Teacher professional ethics mean a set of dignified principles put into practice by the Teachers. They are the valuable tactics that are exhibited and enforced by Teachers in relation to the students, colleagues, community and to oneself, to produce a profound effect on strategy of education.

Why Code of Professional Ethics?

• to define accepted/acceptable behaviors;

• to promote high standards of practice;

• to provide a benchmark for members to use for self-evaluation;

• to establish a framework for professional behavior and responsibilities;

• as a vehicle for occupational identity;

• as a mark of occupational maturity; 

The UGC set up a task force for preparing a Code of Ethics for University and college teachers. With participation of AIFUCTO a report on the Code was prepared and it was adopted by the Commission in its meeting on 27th December 1988. The same was adopted by Pune University and it is reproduced below:

The Code of Professional Ethics

Preamble

I. Goal of Higher Education in our Country:

The basic purpose of education is to create skill and knowledge and awareness of our glorious national heritage and the achievements of human civilization, possessing a basic scientific outlook and commitment to the ideals of patriotism, democracy, secularism and peace, and the principles enunciated in the Preamble to our constitution.

Higher education has to produce leaders of society and economy in all areas of manifold activities with a commitment to the aforesaid ideals.

Higher education should strive for academic excellence, and progress of arts and science. Education, research and extension should be conducted in conformity with our national needs and priorities and ensure that our best talents make befitting contributions to international endeavor on societal needs.

II. Teachers and their Rights:

Teachers should enjoy full civic and political rights of our democratic country Teachers have a right to adequate emoluments, social position, just conditions of service professional independence and adequate social insurance.

I. Teachers and Their Responsibilities:

Whoever adopts teaching as a profession assumes the obligation to conduct him in accordance with the ideals of the profession. A teacher is constantly under the scrutiny of his students and the society at large. Therefore, every teacher should see that there is no incompatibility between his precepts and practice. The national ideals of education which have already been set forth and which he/she should seek to inculcate among students must be his/her own ideals. The profession further requires that the teachers should be calm, patient and communicative by temperament and amiable in disposition.

Teachers should:

1.   adhere to a responsible pattern of conduct and demeanor expected of them by the community;

2.   manage their private affairs in a manner consistent with the dignity of the profession;

3.   seek to make professional growth continuous through study and research;

4.   express free and frank opinion by participation at professional meetings, seminars, conference etc. towards the contribution of knowledge;

5.   maintain active membership of professional organizations and strive to improve education and profession through them;

6.   perform their duties in the form of teaching, tutorial, practical and seminar work conscientiously and with dedication;

7.   co-operate and assist in carrying out functions relating to the educational responsibilities of the college and the university such as: assisting in appraising applications for admission, advising and counseling students as well as assisting in the conduct of university and college examinations, including supervision, invigilation and evaluation; and

8.   participate in extension, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities including community Service. 

II. Teachers and the Students:

Teachers should:

1.   respect the right and dignity of the student in expressing his/her opinion;

2.   deal justly and impartially with students regardless of their religion, caste, political, economic, social and physical characteristics;

3.   recognize the difference in aptitude and capabilities among students and strive to meet their individual needs;

4.   encourage students to improve their attainments, develop their personalities and at the same time contribute to community welfare;

5.   inculcate among students scientific outlook and respect for physical labor and ideals of democracy, patriotism and peace;

6.   be affectionate to the students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards and of them for any reason;

7.   pay attention to only the attainment of the student in the assessment of merit;

8.   make themselves available to the students even beyond their class hours and help and guide students without any remuneration or reward;

9.   aid students to develop an understanding of our national heritage and national goals, and

10.   refrain from inciting students against other students, colleagues or administration

III. Teachers and Colleges:

Teachers should:

1.   treat other members of the profession in the same manner as they themselves wish to be treated;

2.   speak respectfully of other teachers and render assistance for professional betterment;

3.   refrain from lodging unsubstantiated allegations against colleagues to higher authorities;

4.   refrain from allowing considerations of caste, creed, religion, race or sex in their professional endeavour.

IV. Teachers and Authorities:

Teachers should:

1.   discharge their professional responsibilities according to the existing rules and adhere to procedures and methods consistent with their profession in initiating steps through their own institutional bodies and/or professional organizations for change of any such rule detrimental to the professional interest;

2.   refrain from undertaking any other employment and commitment including private tuitions and coaching classes which are likely to interfere with their professional responsibilities;

3.   co-operate in the formulation of policies of the institution by accepting various offices and discharge responsibilities which such offices may demand;

4.   co-operate through their organizations in the formulation of policies of the other institutions and accept offices;

5.   co-operate with the authorities for the betterment of the institutions keeping in view the interest and in conformity with dignity of the profession;

6.   should adhere to the conditions of contract;

7.   give and expect due notice before a change of position is made; and

8.   refrain from availing themselves of leave except on unavoidable grounds and as far as practicable with prior intimation, keeping in view their particular responsibility for completion of academic schedule.

V. Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff:

1.   Teachers should treat the non-teaching staff as colleagues and equal partners in a co-operative undertaking, within every educational institution;

2.   Teachers should help in the function of joint staff-councils covering both teachers and the nonteaching staff.

VI. Teachers and Guardians:

Teachers should:

Try to see through teachers’ bodies and organizations that institutions maintain contact with the guardians of their students, send reports of their performance to the guardians whenever necessary and meet the guardians in meetings convened for the purpose for mutual exchange of ideas and for the benefit of the institution.

VII. Teachers and Society:

Teachers should:

1.   Recognize that education is a public service and strive to keep the public informed of the educational programs which are being provided;

2.   Work to improve education in the community and strengthen the community's moral and intellectual life;

3.   Be aware of social problems and take part in such activities as would be conducive to the progress of society and hence the country as a whole;

4.   Perform the duties of citizenship, participate in community activities and shoulder responsibilities of public offices;

5.   Refrain from taking part in or subscribing to or assisting in any way activities which tend to promote feeling of hatred or enmity among different communities, religions or linguistic groups but actively work for National Integration.

विद्यापीठ आणि आणि यु जी सी यांनी लागू केलेल्या आदर्श आचार संहिते प्रमाणे महाविद्यालयात कोणत्याही प्रकारचा भेदभाव केला जात नाही. जात-पात, वर्ण, धर्म, लिंग इत्यादी बाबतीत कोणताही भेदभाव केला जात नाही. त्यामुळे महाविद्यालयातील वातावरण सलोख्याचे आणि सौहार्दाचे राहते. चांगल्या प्रकारे टीम वर्क घडून येण्यासाठी तेआवश्यक आहे.

We have adopted The principle of non-discrimination which seeks “to guarantee that human rights are exercised without discrimination of any kind based on race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status such as disability, age, marital and family status, sexual orientation and gender identity, health status, place of residence, economic and social situation”. 

महाविद्यालयामध्ये कोणीही जातीवाचक शब्दांचा उपयोग करू नये. जातीवाचक शब्द वापरून शेरेबाजी करणे, चिडवणे, हिणवणे, अपमानास्पद वागणूक देणे या गोष्टी निषिद्ध आहेत. कोणीही असे वर्तन करू नये. आपल्या दैनंदिन व्यवहारांमध्ये जात विषयक बाबी कोणत्याही प्रकारे येता कामा नयेत. कोणाच्याही जात-पात इत्यादीचा उल्लेख करण्याची काहीच आवश्यकता नाही. जात-पात विषयक विचारसरणी महाविद्यालयातून हद्दपार करण्यात आलेली आहे. तरीसुद्धा जर कोणी जातीविषयक गैरवर्तन (बोलण्यामधून, वर्तनामधून, कृतीमधून इत्यादी) करीत असेल तर त्याची गंभीर दखल घेऊन समज दिली जाईल आणि/किंवा कायद्यानुसार कारवाई केली जाईल. जात विषयक सूचनांचा वरील प्रमाणे अवलंब करून सहकार्य करावे.

महाविद्यालयात सर्वांनी एकमेकांना आदराने वागवावे. कुणाचाही आदर व उपमर्द होऊन ते अपमानित होतील अशी भाषा वापरणे अगर वर्तन करणे टाळावे. नेहमी सभ्य भाषेतच बोलावे. असभ्य शब्दांचा उपयोग करू नये. आपले काही काम झाले नाही तर त्यावर चिडून जातीवाचक/ लिंग वाचक शब्दांचा उपयोग करून शिवराळ भाषा वापरू नये. सभ्य भाषेत बोला. हळू आवाजात बोला. शिवीगाळ करू नका.

एकमेकांचा आदर ठेवावा. कोणाचाही अनादर किंवा अपमान करू नये. 

लूज टॉक करू नये. टोमणे, शेरेबाजी, तिरकस वक्तव्ये करू नयेत. कुणाची त्याच्या माघारी चर्चा करू नये. जबाबदारीने बोलावे. अफवांना जागेवरच थांबवावे. 

एखाद्या प्राध्यापकास विद्यार्थी अडचणीत आणीत असतील तर विद्यार्थ्यांना चिथावणी न देता प्राध्यापकाला सपोर्ट केले पाहिजे. बाह्य शक्ती विरोधात आपली एकी पाहिजे. 

विद्यार्थ्यांच्या आपापसातील मारामाऱ्या, भांडणे इत्यादी थांबवण्याचे काम करावे. 

परीक्षेत कॉपीबंदी, गैर प्रकारांचा  अवलंब न करणे इत्यादी महाविद्यालयाची धोरणे लक्षात घेता कोणीही प्राध्यापकाने किंवा सेवकाने विद्यार्थ्यांना सदर कामी सहाय्य करू नये. 

वरील सूचना महाविद्यालयातील सर्व कर्मचाऱ्यांचे एकमेकातील वर्तन, कर्मचारी आणि विद्यार्थी व विद्यार्थिनी, पालक यांचे एकमेकातील वर्तन यास लागू आहेत याची नोंद घ्यावी.

वरील सूचनांचे उल्लंघन केल्यास आणि त्यामुळे महाविद्यालयांमध्ये तेढ निर्माण झाल्यास त्यातून उद्भवणाऱ्या समस्याना संबंधित व्यक्ती जबाबदार असेल. त्याचप्रमाणे अशा प्रकरणांमध्ये पोलिसांमध्ये तक्रार होणे अगर गुन्हा दाखल होणे यासारख्या गोष्टी घडू शकतात याची पूर्वकल्पना देत आहोत. 

वरील सूचनांच्या संदर्भात कुठे काही गैरवर्तन घडत असेल तर त्याची कल्पना मा.प्राचार्य यांना भेटून वा फोन करून द्यावी, जेणेकरून अशा गोष्टींमुळे समस्या निर्माण होऊन त्यांनी मोठे व गंभीर स्वरूप धारण करण्याआधीच काही उपाय योजना करणे शक्य होईल.
