The Gramonnati Mandal's ACS College Library was established in 1993. Right from its inception, it has become the “heart of the campus”. The library occupies a prominent place and plays integral part in the teaching and learning process of the institution.

The growth and development of the library goes hand-in-hand with that of the increasing number of readers and their demands. The library has following collection (as on 31 May 2018) :

MISSION of the College Library :

The library aims to fulfil all kinds of educational, informational and recreational needs of the students, teachers, researchers and other users by providing them with a wide range of books, periodicals, reference books, famous literary works, rare books and audio-visual aids.

The College library plays the role of a counsellor to the readers rather than a caretaker of the book collection and engaged in technical services of acquisition, classifying, cataloguing and lending books to the members.

महाविद्यालयाचे ग्रंथालय १९९३ साली सुरु झाले. ग्रंथालय हे महाविद्यालयातील अध्ययन-अध्यापन प्रक्रियेत महत्त्वाची भूमिका पार पाडते आहे. महाविद्यालयाच्या स्वतंत्र व प्रशस्त ग्रंथालयामध्ये इंग्रजी, मराठी भाषेतील सुमारे २४३००  पुस्तके आहेत. त्याशिवाय रोजची वर्तमानपत्रे, साप्ताहिके, मासिके, वाचण्यास उपलब्द आहेत. पुस्तके घरी वाचण्यासाठी दिली जातात. ‘वाचाल तर वाचाल’ हे ध्यानात घेऊन विद्यार्थ्यांनी ग्रंथालयाचा जास्तीत जास्त लाभ घ्यावा. विद्यार्थी व विद्यार्थिंनीसाठी स्वतंत्र वाचन कक्ष आहे. इंटरनेट सेवाही उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आली आहे.

ग्रंथालयाचे नियम: Rules of Library :

1. ग्रंथालय रोज सकाळी ८ ते सायंकाळी ४ पर्यंत उघडे राहील. देवघेव विभाग मात्र सकाळी ९ ते १ व  दुपारी २ ते ४ वाजेपर्यंत चालू राहील.

2. ग्रंथालय कार्ड काढण्यासाठी महाविद्यालयातील प्रवेश घेतल्याची पावती दाखवावी लागते. प्रवेशानंतर पंधरा दिवसात ओळखपत्र घेणे बंधनकारक आहे.

3. ग्रंथालयातून पुस्तके घेताना अगर परत करताना प्रत्येक वेळी ग्रंथालय कार्ड आणणे आवश्यक आहे.

4. आपले ग्रंथालय कार्ड हरविल्यास त्याची माहिती ग्रंथपालांना त्वरीत द्यावी. त्या कार्डाचा कोणीही दुरुपयोग करून त्यावर जर पुस्तके नेली तर त्याची जबाबदारी संबंधीत विद्यार्थ्यांवर राहील व त्यामुळे ग्रंथालयाचे काही नुकसान झाल्यास त्याची भरपाई द्यावी लागेल. याच अटीवर ग्रंथालय कार्ड रु. १०/- दंड भरून मिळू शकेन.

5. दुसऱ्याच्या ग्रंथालय कार्डावर पुस्तक मिळणार नाहीत. 

6. एका ग्रंथालय कार्डावर एक पुस्तक आठ दिवसांच्या मुदतीसाठी देण्यात येईल. आठ दिवसानंतर प्रत्येक दिवसाला १ रुपया दंड आकारण्यात येईल व दंड भरून ते पुस्तक परत केल्याशिवाय दुसरे पुस्तक मिळणार नाही.

7. आपल्या नावावर असलेले पुस्तक गहाळ झाल्यास दुसरी प्रत आणून द्यावी लागेल. त्याची संपूर्ण किंमत व दंड भरावा लागेल.

8. नियतकालिके, वर्तमानपत्र, प्रश्नपत्रिका ग्रंथालायातच ओळखपत्र दिल्यावर वाचण्यास उपलब्ध करून दिले जातील. ते घरी नेता येणार नाहीत. नेल्यास दंड आकारण्यात येईल.

9. पुस्तक घरी नेण्यापूर्वी ते चांगल्या स्थितीत असल्याची करून घ्यावी. ग्रंथ परत करताना जर त्याची पृष्ठे गहाळ झालेली आढळली किंवा अन्य प्रकारे सुस्थितीत आढळले नाही तर त्याबद्दल ते ज्याच्या नावावर असेल त्याला जबाबदार धरले जाईल व त्याची नवी प्रत भरपाई द्यावी लागेल किंवा संपूर्ण किंमत व दंड भरावा लागेल.

10. कोणत्याही पुस्तकावर काही मजकूर लिहू नये व खुणा करू नयेत. ग्रंथ खराब झाल्यास पूर्ण किंमत व दंड भरावा लागेल.

Monday to Friday : 8 am to 4 pm

Saturday : 8 am to 12.30 pm

Issuing time: 9 am to 1 pm AND 2 to 4 pm 

The Library and Reading Halls remain closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Library Committee : 2017-2022

Aims & Objectives of Library Committee:

• To formulate various policies related to library like collection development, purchase, space etc.

• To propose and review the proper utilisation of library budget.

• To formulate policies and procedures for efficient use of Library resources.

• To propose library activities, programmes and services.

• To adopt measures to enhance readership.

• To analyze the overall functioning of library.

Library Rules & Regulations :

1. I-Card is compulsory in the Library and Reading Hall. Students will have to make an entry in the register while entering the library or reading hall. 

2. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the library & reading hall.

3. Junior College & Under-Graduate College Students can issue One Book on their Library Card. Post-Graduate Students, M.Phil & Ph.D Students can issue Two Books on their Library Card.

4. Renewal of books will depend on their availability and requirement of same by other users.

5. The students are required to check their issue/return details in the library card before leaving the counter.

6. Silence has to be maintained in Library & Reading Hall. Both Library & Reading Hall are under CCTV surveillance.

7. Reference books & Journals will not be issued for home lending. Students can access them on I-Card in the Library or Reading Hall. Assistance regarding Reference Books will be available from the Librarian, Assistant Librarian & the Junior Clerk.

8. Fine of Re.1/- per day will be charged on late return of book borrowed on library card.

9. Internet can be accessed @ Rs.10/- per hour in the Library only by the College Students on producing the College I-Card. Use of pen-drive is prohibited. Usage of Internet by faculty members is not chargeable.

10. Photocopy of max. 20 pages of books & max. 05 pages of journal will be available in the library @ 0.75 paise per page. Entire Book or Journal Issue cannot be photocopied. Theses and Dissertations cannot be photocopied.

11. Loss of book should be immediately reported to the Library and should replace the same with a brand new copy or pay the fine decided by the library committee.

12. Students must submit books issued by them immediately after their final examination gets over.

13. A student after completion of the final year will get refund of Library Deposit. For refund a student is required to return all the library books and carry original fee-receipt of the first year of the course. A student should obtain "No Dues" Stamp on the original receipt from the Library. 

14. External users who are not a member of the library can sit in the library and refer to the required books/journals with permission from Principal Sir. They are not allowed to borrow resources out of the library. Photocopy will be provided on chargeable basis.

15. Difficulties if any should be discussed with the Librarian.

16. Suggestions are invited from the students for the betterment of library services.
